Fall Reading List

Fall time is my favorite time to curl up with a good book and a cup of tea.
Here is my list of books I either highly recommend, or I look forward to reading this fall!

1.) Looking For Alaska By John Green

My favorite version of the cover.
Buy the book here.
I heard this book had really good reviews, so I decided to pick up my own copy. I am really glad I did! It is more of a high school book, but it is really, really good!

2.) To Kill A Mockingbird By Harper Lee
A pretty version or the book sold at Barnes and Noble.
Regular copy here.
I have to read this book for school, but so far it is amazing! Did you know that in a survey for the the most influential book of all time, To Kill A Mockingbird came in second place, only being beat by the Bible?

3.) The Maze Runner By James Dashner
This book was recently made into a movie!
Buy the book here.
My sister recommend this book to me, and I was excited that I got the chance to read it before school started. I will admit, the first hundred pages are a little challenging to get through, but after that there isn't a dull moment!

4.) Paper Towns By John Green
What girl doesn't love a John Green book?
Buy the book here.
I have not started this book yet, but I am very excited to! My sister recommended this book also, and gave me her copy. As soon as I finish Looking For Alaska, this is next on my list.

Favorites on the First!

Hello! So I decided to do a monthly favorites, but with my own twist on it! Instead of listing 50 things and telling you how much I love them, I decided to break it up week by week. On the first, I will be telling you 3 overall things I've been loving, and 1 thing I am excited to try!

3 overall I've been loving:  Fall Fashion, The Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder in translucent, and dark nude Laura Mercier lippies (specifically the shades Bare Lips and Tender Lips).

Me, sporting a girly fall look.
1.) Fall fashion! Fall is one of my four favorite seasons. Sorry, I had to make that joke. I really do enjoy fall with the changing leaves, hot drinks, cold days, and the approaching holidays! But, by far my favorite thing about fall is the fashion. Jeans, and comfy sweaters, and tall boots with a cute jacket...... I just love it all!
Laura Mercier Lipsticks in the shades Bare Lips and Tender Lips.
(The  heart is also drawn in Tender Lips)
2.) Darker nude lips.  As you may or may not know, darker nudes lips is a trend this fall. As you may or may not know also, I happen to love this trend! I think it look so pretty and natural, and many people can pull it off. If you've ever been afraid of bright or super dark fall lip colors, you should definitely give this trend a try!

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Translucent
3.) Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Translucent. This powder has extremely good reviews, and there is not one YouTuber that I watch that does not have this in their makeup collection. Because of this, I finally convinced myself to get it. It works very well and keeps my skin fairly matte throughout a long school day, and that is coming from someone with very oily skin! This is just overall a great product.

1 thing I am excited to try out: Maybelline The Nudes palette! I've seen the adds for this everywhere, and had to have it. I figured it would be a great dupe for Urban Decay's Naked pallets, and in my opinion, it is. The colors are so pretty and I already learned how to make the perfect nude smokey eye with it! Leave a comment if you want to see a tutorial!
