Everyday Makeup Routine!

Hello! Today, I am going to show you my everyday makeup routine! I have recently been wearing less makeup, and love it! With wearing less makeup, my routine has become much simpler and quicker. I keep my makeup very natural, focusing mainly on making skin look as even and flawless as possible!

1. I start out by using the Rimmel Stay Matte Primer, and blend that out with my fingers. I focus this mainly on my T-Zone.
2. I then take a green concealer and cover up any red spots to help balance the color. I blend this out with a damp beauty blender.
3. After that, I take the same concealer in the color fair to cover up wherever I put the green concealer. I also blend this out with a damp beauty blender.
4. I blend everything together with a damp beauty blander before adding a little more concealer to make everything look natural.
5. Recently, I have been using this full coverage concealer by Maybelline to coverup any blemishes and imperfections still showing. I then blend this in with my fingers.
6. One of my favorite concealers is the Maybelline Instant Age rewind in Brightener. I use it under my eyes and blend it with my beauty blender. It looks so flawless and natural, and brightens my eyes instantly!
7. My all time favorite powder is the Rimmel Stay Matte powder! It keeps my oily skin looking flawless for hours! I always use this all over my face and neck to set my face with a kabuki brush.
8. Lastly for my face, I use this blush that I got in a palette for Christmas. It looks great on my skin tone, and is the perfect winter color!

1. I start my eyes by using the Millani Easybrow eyebrow pencil to fill in my brows. I have a full tutorial for this here.
2. If I feel like it, I will do a simple winged eyeliner using this liquid eyeliner.
3. Next I curl my eyelashes to make them nice and perky before putting on mascara.
4 & 5. For mascara, I love the cover girl lash blast volume, and have recently been obsessed with the L'oreal telescopic. I like to layer them in this order: telescopic, lash blast volume, telescopic. I also alternate eyes, doing both at the same time instead of just one at a time.

Winter Reading List!

Hello! As some of you may remember, back in October I made a post about my Fall Reading List. I have decided to make this a seasonal thing for me to do, to you guys some book ideas for each season! I am really excited about this, because I have found several books that I want to share with you that I look forward to reading. I hope this gives you some inspiration on what to read!

1. Will Grayson, Will Grayson. It's very rare that I find a n author that I love, but John Green has been my current favorite! Something about the way he writes, I just love! His stories are well written, with flawed characters, and teenage romance. I am not going to lie, I have very single one of his books! I can't wait to start this one!

2. Let It Snow. Okay, so maybe I already read this book, but I loved it so much, I had to include it! I read it around Christmas, and found all three of the intertwining stories so cute and perfect for winter. I absolutely adored this book!

3. An Abundance Of Katherines. Oh look, another John Green book! What can I say, I love the way he writes!

4. Popular. I find the concept of this book absolutely fascinating! It was written by a girl when she was in the 8th grade, who did something captivating. She took a book that was written in the 50's about how to become popular, and conducted social experiments to see if the book was still relevant today! How cool is that?

5. The Diary Of Anne Frank. We are currently reading this book in school, but I am not going to lie, I love it! To think, a girl the same age as me going through something like that, and documenting all of it?

Pretty in Pink & Feature Item

Sweater: Old Navy (Sold Out, similar Here), Jeans: J Brand, Socks: Francesca's, Boots: Similar Here, Purse: Lulu Guinness, Necklace: BaubleBar (similar), Sunnies: Betsey Johnson (similar)

Hello! Recently I have been obsessed with a purse I got for Christmas. The purse I received is a LULU by Lulu Guinness navy blue shoulder bag. It is absolutely adorable and unique, and I love the little bow on the front. The cool thing about this bag is that it can be worn over the shoulder or as a cross body bag!
This purse is simple, unique, comes in four different colors,
and is only $27.50!

The rest of my outfit is simple and colorful, and is also a mix of new and old pieces. I also choose to keep my makeup natural with a rose gold blush.

I wore a pink sweater, dark wash jeans, white over the knee socks, brown riding boots, cat eye sunnies, a statement necklace, and my Lulu Guinness purse. I loved the way it all looked together!

In case you were wondering, yes, I do have a pink streak in my hair!
Also, I did not actually dye my hair, they are temporary extensions.

Holiday Gift Guide: Fun Finds Under $20

It's always good to spend money wisely. If you are on a tight budget this year, here are some fun finds under $20!

1.) A Super Cute Ornament! This year, J. Crew teamed up with Hugo Guinness to make some really cute stuff. Their ornaments are just adorable, and happen to be on sale! As J. Crew puts it, they're the perfect way to "spruce up" you tree! Pier One also has some great ones, most of which are under $10!

2.) Minimergancy Kit! I think these are adorable, and are the perfect small gift, or add-on to another. Priced at $16, this small pouch has 17 things a girl would need in a fashion emergency!

3.) A Cute Mug! Anthropologie sells super cute mugs with with an initial on it! It is the perfect personalized gift, and at $6.40-8.00, it's a steal!

4.) Monthly Subscription Box! Once again, I am bringing up monthly subscription boxes, such as BirchBox or ipsy. I personally love getting my BirchBox every month, and I am still on the wait list for ipsy. This is a bit trickier, only because you have to fill out the survey with questions such as skin type, product preferences, and other things like that. If you need help, but don't want to ruin the surprise, ask one of their family members for help, they will probably know the answers!

Holiday Gift Guide: For Him

For this one, I got help from my dad to make sure these are things that guys really want to receive! By guys, I mean any guy in your life, from you dad to your boyfriend.

1.) A Good Razor and Shaving Cream. Guys have to shave their face everyday, so they men as well have a good electric razor! Here is one I found online for $30! My dad also suggested shaving cream too. You can get this with the razor, or chose one or the other!

2.) A Gift Card. This one is a bit more obvious, but is also much appreciated. If you don't know what store to get the gift card from, I would suggest Amazon or a Visa Gift Card.

3.) A Subscription Box. This one is a bit more unique. Did you know Birchbox has a Birchbox Men's? They do! It is full of stuff like shampoo, shaving cream, and cologne samples!

Holiday Gift Guide: The Girly Girl!

We all have that one person in our life who looks fabulous at all times, and may be well known for being fashionably late. If you have no idea what to gift to get this person, you are in the right place. I just so happen to be a self proclaimed girly girl, and I have a few ideas of what I (and other girly girls) just might want to receive.
To prove you do not need to spend a fortune, everything in this collage is under $30!
1.) Mason Jar full of Makeup. This gift is just what it sounds like, a medium sized mason jar full of a combination of your's and her's favorite makeup. This sounds like it can be expensive, but honestly, I would be thrilled if I got a bucket full of drugstore makeup, whether it be my favorites or stuff I haven't tried! If you do not have a clue about what to put in the mason jar, I can help you with that! Some things I would be happy to see are: Rimmel Stay Matte Powder, Covergirl Lash Blast Volume, Maybelline Fit Me Concealer, Maybelline The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette, any nude lipstick, travel sized hair products, a few perfume samples, and maybe a nail polish or two (they sell really good and cheap nail polish at TJ Maxx.)

2.) A Cute Purse. They sell some really cute purses from good brands at TJ Maxx, so I highly recommend looking there for a simple bag in a neutral color form a decent brand.

3.) Lauren Conrad's Beauty Book. I have been wanting this book for so long, and still do not have it. It is about makup and beauty and is a book of how to's. Other books like this are Make Up by Michelle Phan (I have this one and adore it!) and I know there is one by Bobbi Brown, too. If you are really close with this person, you could go all out and by all the books and give them a collection if you wanted to spend the money. If not, just one book will surely put a smile on their face!

4.) A Gift Card. You can never go wrong with a gift card to her favorite store!

Holiday Gift Guide (A Holiday Series)

If you are anything like me, you have had your fair share of giving bad gifts in the past. One year, I gave my sister a ball of twine for Christmas! But, in the past two years I have changed that tremendously (for Christmas this year, my sister will be receiving her favorite Dior mascara… you're welcome Halle!)  Of course I understand if you do not want to spend a ton of money this Christmas, so I am creating this gift guide for all people in your life.

Disclaimer: I most likely have not actually met the people in your life, so just use this as inspiration if you are in a creative gift giving block.
